The eight images at the top of the east wall show the Old Testament prophets whose words are used as the beginning canticle for each ode of a Canon.

The Prepared Throne. This is the central image on the ceiling of the sanctuary (direcly above the altar).
Stepping back, we can begin to see the image as it relates to the rest of the sanctuary paintings.
